For UK players, AtrbCode runs Minecraft servers in Frankfurt, Germany—close enough to most UK networks for low latency, usually better than hosting in the US. Plans start at $0.69 per month for Bedrock and $0.90 for Java, with a fixed $1.00 service fee per payment plus a one-time $2.00 account fee on the first Minecraft plan; there are no other recurring fees.
Why server location matters for UK players
Minecraft sends every block, movement and chat message to the server and back. The longer that round trip takes, the more lag you feel. Physical distance is the biggest factor you can control when choosing a host.
Frankfurt is one of the world's best-connected internet hubs. It is close to the UK compared with the US or Asia, so UK connections usually cross a shorter, better-provisioned path. The exact ping depends on your ISP, but in practice UK players get a much better experience from Frankfurt than from a server in the US or Asia.

What you get on an AtrbCode Minecraft server
Every Minecraft plan includes unlimited player slots. The plan’s RAM is the practical limit, not an arbitrary slot count. You can run Java or Bedrock depending on the plan, and our panel includes these tools:
- Server doctor – reads the server's log and crash report and lists what it found in plain words, with a button to fix the common problems (for example turning a broken plugin off); 'Explain with AI' explains the findings.
- Config assistant – available in the panel.
- Worlds and backups – you can create, restore and download backups from the panel. We also keep our own nightly copies for emergencies, available through support.
- Performance tools – spark and Chunky.
- Plugin store – search thousands of free plugins and install them in one click from Modrinth, Hangar and Spigot.
- Bedrock crossplay – one click installs Geyser and Floodgate and opens a Bedrock port so Bedrock players can join a Java server.
- Modpacks and mod loaders – paste a Modrinth or CurseForge link; we set up the loader and Java version for you. Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt are supported.
- Player skins – SkinsRestorer lets players use custom skins.
- Discord alerts – send online, offline, join and crash events straight to a Discord channel.
- Activity history – available in the panel.
Which tools a plan includes can differ by plan. You can see the full feature list and current pricing on the Minecraft hosting page.
Plans and pricing for UK players
All prices are in US dollars. UK customers can pay by card through Stripe or from the account wallet; gift codes are redeemed into the wallet.
The table shows a few plans that cover the range from a first Bedrock server to a large modded server.
| Plan | RAM | Storage | Java | Bedrock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ur | 512 MB | 5 GB SSD | Not offered | $0.69/mo |
| Uruk | 1024 MB | 10 GB SSD | $0.90/mo | $2.99/mo |
| Babylon | 3072 MB | 20 GB SSD | $8.99/mo | $7.99/mo |
| Sumer | 10240 MB | 60 GB SSD | $32.99/mo | $29.99/mo |
You can pay for 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 months at once. Paying for 6 months gives 10% off, and paying for 12 months gives 20% off.
Every payment adds a $1.00 service fee. The first Minecraft plan on an account adds a one-time $2.00 account fee.
As an example, the Ur Bedrock plan totals $1.69 for one month before the first-plan account fee. The Uruk Java plan totals $1.90 for one month before that fee. Those are the exact totals we show at checkout, so there are no surprises.
How to choose the right plan
Start with what you actually want to run.
For a small Bedrock group
The Ur plan at 512 MB RAM and 5 GB SSD storage is the entry Bedrock option. If you want more RAM and storage, Uruk gives 1 GB RAM and 10 GB SSD storage.
For a Java survival server
Java Edition needs a bit more room. Uruk at $0.90 per month is our entry Java plan. For a survival SMP with a handful of plugins, Babylon's 3 GB is a comfortable middle ground.
For modpacks and busy servers
Modpacks vary a lot. Some packs run on 2–3 GB, while others want much more. We provide a modpack checker at /minecraft/modpack-fit to estimate whether your pack will run on a given plan. For busy servers or large modpacks, consider a plan with more RAM, and the plan finder can narrow down the options.
If you want to compare our plans side by side with other hosts, see the Minecraft hosting comparison.
Setting up your UK server in minutes
Once you have chosen a plan, the panel walks you through the rest.
- Create your account and pick a plan. Choose Java or Bedrock, select a term, and pay by card or wallet.
- Pick a game-mode template. We offer templates like Survival SMP, Skyblock, OneBlock, Factions, Bedwars, KitPvP, Creative, Hardcore, Cobblemon and many more. The template sets up the world, plugins or modpack for you.
- Adjust the world and install extras. Change the version, install plugins from the store, or paste a Modrinth or CurseForge link to install a modpack. You can also upload your own world.
- Invite your friends. Share the server address. If you need help joining, follow our guide for Java Edition or Bedrock.
The exact time to first login depends on the plan and template you choose, but the process is designed so you do not need to edit config files or use FTP unless you want to.
