Common questions
How much RAM does a Minecraft server need?
For Java Edition, 1 GB runs a small survival world for a handful of friends. Two to three GB handles plugins and a dozen players comfortably, and modpacks usually need 4 GB or more. Bedrock Edition is lighter and runs well on less, which is why the smallest AtrbCode Host Bedrock plans start at 512 MB. The modpack checker on our site tells you the plan a modpack needs before you buy.
Does AtrbCode Host use AI?
Yes. The Server doctor reads your server's log and crash reports and explains what went wrong in plain language, with one-click fixes for common problems such as a broken plugin. The config assistant changes settings from a plain-English request, for example turn off creeper damage, after showing exactly what it will change, with one-click undo. The support chat answers from your own account details and hands you to a person when needed. The AI only suggests: nothing changes without your confirmation.
What happens if my server crashes?
We restart it automatically and email you what the Server doctor found. If it keeps crashing, we stop restarting it so it cannot get stuck in a loop, and tell you why.
Can Bedrock and Java players play together?
Yes. One click installs Geyser and Floodgate on your Java server, opens a Bedrock port and checks it works, so friends on phones, consoles and Windows can join your Java world without a Java account.

Yes. Java servers run Paper, Purpur, Vanilla, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt. The plugin and mod store in your panel installs the build that matches your exact Minecraft version, with dependencies and one-click undo, and whole Modrinth or CurseForge modpacks install in one step.
What is the difference between Java and Bedrock?
Java Edition runs on PC, Mac and Linux and has the largest plugin and modding community. Bedrock Edition covers mobile, consoles and Windows, and lets players on different devices play together. With crossplay, a Java server can welcome Bedrock players too.
How quickly is my server ready?
Your server is created automatically as soon as payment clears and is usually accepting connections within a minute, with your own address such as yourname.atrb.net.
Where are the servers located?
Our servers are in Frankfurt, Germany, which gives low latency across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. The connection test on our order page measures your own latency before you buy.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes, from your server panel at any time. An upgrade starts a new period on the bigger plan straight away; a downgrade turns the value of your remaining days into extra days on the smaller plan for a $2 fee. Your world stays exactly as it is.
What happens when my time runs out?
Your server stops but your world is kept safe. Extend from your dashboard at any point and everything comes back exactly as you left it.
