Questions
How do my friends join?
In Terraria choose Multiplayer, then Join via IP, and enter terraria.atrb.net and your server's port (both are shown in your panel and in the email we send when the server is ready). Add a password in the panel if you want to keep strangers out.
Which Terraria version do you run?
Vanilla servers run Terraria 1.4.5.8. TShock servers run TShock 6.2.1, built for Terraria 1.4.5.8. tModLoader servers run tModLoader 2026.08, which is based on Terraria 1.4.4.9, so players join them with tModLoader (free on Steam for Terraria owners), not with the regular game.
What is the difference between Vanilla, TShock and tModLoader?
Vanilla is the game exactly as Re-Logic made it. TShock keeps vanilla gameplay and adds server tools: player accounts, permissions, protected regions, anti-grief, bans and plugins. tModLoader runs mods such as Calamity, Thorium or Magic Storage; every player needs the same mods, which tModLoader downloads for them when they join.
Can I use my own world?
Yes. Upload a .wld file (up to 64 MB, plus its .twld file for tModLoader) in the Worlds tab and switch to it. You can also create new worlds in any size and difficulty, keep several, and download any of them.
How do I add mods?
On a tModLoader server, paste a Steam Workshop link and we download the mod for you, or upload a .tmod file. Switch mods on and off, then restart. Big content mods like Calamity run best on the Gold plan or bigger.
How are backups done?
Every night automatically, kept for 7 days, plus up to 5 backups you make yourself. You can download any backup or restore it with one click.
Which plan do I need?
Copper (1 GB) runs a vanilla or TShock small or medium world for a few friends. Iron (2 GB) handles large worlds, plugins and light mods. Gold (4 GB) is for content mods such as Calamity. Platinum (6 GB) is for big modpacks and busy servers.
How do I pay and cancel?
Pay monthly by card (renews automatically; cancel any time in the panel and the server runs until the end of the paid month), or pay a month at a time from your AtrbCode wallet. When a plan ends we keep your worlds and a final backup for 14 days.
Where are the servers?
In Frankfurt, Germany, run by Atrb Services Limited (UK company 17226687).
